Created by the Cooperativa Sociale Integra and promoted by the Cooperativa Sociale Agatos, which is active in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation, this workshop creates long-term training courses that provide students with specific skills and abilities in the field of ceramics.
The aim of this project was to facilitate the insertion of disabled people into employment and to foster social inclusion.
The workshop activity is intense and is producing important results. The Cooperative believes that ceramics, in its various stages of production, helps ‘to bring the student closer to what requires care, attention, patience and time. In this way, the conditions are created to facilitate responsibility towards the commitment to real work, in a gradual and protected way’.
The students of the Workshop participate with their artefacts in numerous events and are now among the protagonists of Buongiorno Ceramica! and Scarpette Rosse.
