Lab33, a cosy space in the city centre, organises flexible pottery courses, open to everyone from 4 to 90 years old. To participate, no experience or specific skills are needed. Initial lessons focus on the basics of ceramics, before moving straight on to the creation of a project of your choice.
Elena Urbani personally supervises each student and helps him or her in the realisation of the artefact (which can be collected once the work has been completed). She also accompanies the student in the knowledge of new techniques and methodologies.
On holidays or special events, workshops are held in which parents and children can participate, together or at different times.
For Elena Urbani, Lab33 is not just about teaching: ‘Anyone who enters my workshop finds themselves in a new family. Words such as collaboration, affection, friendship, laughter and knowledge form the background to our lessons’.
