Terrecotte Olimpia

Established in the 1990s, Terrecotte Olimpia keeps the tradition of handcrafted terracotta work alive thanks to the experience of Sergio Pietrella and Giulio Banella. Expert hands mould the clay to shape artistic and garden vases and jars of all sizes, following either the company’s designs or bespoke moulds made to the customer’s specifications. Every stage, right up to firing and packaging (the products are primarily destined for foreign countries, mainly the UK), is followed with great care.

Fornace Cotto Antico

Since 2004, Eleonora Chiacchella has fired up her kiln every day and got her hands dirty with the earth, continuing the activity that her father, Pietro, started in 1994. She possesses a considerable wealth of skills and a passion for handmade products. Having initially specialised in the production of red Tuscan terracotta, the company never stopped experimenting and now also offers enamelled terracotta. Product sustainability is key for this business, highlighted by the fact that they mainly use clay from the Tuscany and Lazio regions.

Francesca Rossi

She was born in 1983 and first approached ceramics at a very young age. After years of studying and working as an illustrator for children, her passion for ceramics became an activity in which she combined her love of drawing with the materiality of clay. She produces unique, customised pieces in which the decoration becomes a story and a portrait. The name of her ceramics, Felicerà, encapsulates precisely this mission: to tell stories of happiness, families, memories and passions on everyday pieces of pottery.

Mutsuo Hirano

Hirano is an artist of Japanese origin who was born in Hyogo in 1952. After leaving his country in his early twenties to move to Germany, he ended up in Alta Tuscia in the early 2000s. And it was here that, driven by his fascination of the Etruscan culture, Hirano discovered clay, a raw material that was “easy to mould” for him. He developed a unique style, creating heads and bodies with an archaic taste, which he sometimes painted in bold colours. He also searched for a way to express his strong dynamism by assembling terracotta fragments.

Thomas Lange

Lange is a painter and sculptor who trained in Berlin, where he was born in 1952. He studied at the Hochschule der Künsten and his beginnings are linked to the Young & Wild generation (former West Berlin), with whom he took part in important painting exhibitions. His research into the flow of time is complex and fascinating, his reading of history is powerful, and he is not limited to art or current events.

Lange is highly active in the exhibition field activity, especially in Germany, Italy and Belgium, as is his participation in relevant cultural projects.
