Dobboloni reached the milestone of 50 years of work in the production of art ceramics in 2022. He mainly focusses on archaeological imitation, specifically Villanovan, Etruscan, Faliscan, Greek and Roman styles, with the use of ancient techniques in the preparation of clays and decorations.

The rigour, profound knowledge of the material, culture and passion of this fantastic craftsman is also shown in his Middle Ages, Renaissance and traditional Civiton “ticchiolo” decorated pottery. Visiting his workshop dug into the tuff is like taking a journey through the history of ceramics.
