Dated to 1965, the ceramic bas-reliefs that can be admired in Via Tommaso Carletti, at numbers 8 and 12, are signed by the artist Alessio Paternesi and the Civitan master ceramist Franco Giorgi. A national competition was held for the creation of both works.

Paternesi created the eight panels placed in the gap between the two buildings of the Liceo Ginnasio Statale Classico and the Mariano Buratti linguistic high school, as well as the work on display at the entrance to the building at number 12, on whose external wall Giorgi’s bas-reliefs stand out.
