Museo del Colle del Duomo Cathedral Hill Museum

Together with the Cathedral and the Papal Palace, it is part of the City’s new Polo Monumentale. The collection consists of an archaeological section, a picture gallery with works dating from the 13th to the 19th century and the Cathedral Treasury.

The archaeological section houses ceramics donated to the Museum on occasion of the Jubilee year in 2000. These include a Villanovan biconical urn, some bucchero pieces and some impasto ceramics for common use. There is also the terracotta cover of an Etruscan sarcophagus from the 2nd century BC.
